Donald Barry Green, 66, of Belle passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024.
He was born Aug.13, 1958, in St. Louis, a son to the late Benjamin F. Green and Hazel (butler) Green. He was preceded in death by his father and his mother Hazel survives of her home in Belle.
He worked for Shanks Construction when he was younger before working in the asphalt business in St. Claire and for the State of Tennessee for over 20 years.
Barry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Barry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and being outdoors. He liked to listen to classic rock music, hot rods and motorcycles. Barry loved his sister and her kids and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Barry is survived by mother, Hazel; children, Jill Beckermann and husband Scott of St. Genivieve, Mike Green and wife Heather of Belle, and Donald James Green and wife Melanie of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Jayci, Alysa, Olivia, and Logan; sister, Anita Ludwig and husband Dan of Belle; brothers, John Green of Belle and Ben Green, Jr. of Belle; and uncle, Dale Butler and wife Cathy of Wentzville; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Barry was preceded in death by father, Benjamin F. Green; and sister, Liana Podhorn.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced by Sassmann’s Chapel
Arrangements are under the direction of Sassmann’s Chapel, Belle.
