Diann Kay Fricke, 78, of Belle, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Mount Vernon, Ill., surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Oct.10, 1944, in Centralia, Ill., to the late Charles and Irene (Bryant) Smith.
She united in marriage to Kenneth Fricke, June 25, 1991, at their farm in Belle. They had celebrated almost 32 years of marriage.
Diann was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Irene; brothers, Charles and Phillip Smith; sister, Virginia Cohlmeyer; granddaughter, Peyton Bauer,; son, Bill Fricke; daughter, Jeanette Schwartz; and two nieces and one nephew.
She is survived by beloved husband, Kenny; daughters, Christine (James) Hayes, Diana (Ray Bruce) Bauer, Bobbie Jo Bauer and Connie (Scott) Dunham; son, Mark (Paulette) Fricke; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 19, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. Interment was at St. George Cemetery in Hermann.
Memorials may be given to SSM Health at Home – Hospice of Ill.
