Carla Jean Woodcock, 66, beloved mother and grandmother passed away quietly Saturday, Dec. 14, 2022, at home with her daughters by her side.

She was born Dec. 8, 1956, in St Louis.

Carla graduated high school in Kokomo, Ind., then became a CMT a job she loved and held for 22 years, 18 of which were caring for veterans at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James. She also enjoyed going to casino’s, traveling, spending time with her friends and family, most especially her grandson Pierce who was her best friend. Carla also owned and operated the bar “Just Killin Time” in Bland for 10 years. She loved to sing and dance and just put a smile on everyone’s face.

She is preceded in death by parents, step-father Carl King and mother Lillie (Gollahon) King; grandmother Leatha Otis; sisters Melba Rohan King of Owensville and Billy King; grandson Dylan Nichols; and niece Amanda Thompson.

She is survived by daughters Letha (Juan) Nichols of Cuba, Kelly (Tom) Gliser of Belle; grandsons Pierce Nichols, Blane (Christina) Gliser of Atlanta, Ga., Dolan Gliser of Rolla, Carson Gliser and his girlfriend Kaylei Robertson of Rolla; granddaughter Jamilhia Markiet of Las Vegas, Nev.; and sisters Verna Jones of Bland and Debbie (Darrin) Cantlon of Owensville; brothers Bruce Bradford of Belle and Larry (Patti) King of Gerald; plus many nieces and nephews, and friends that will all miss her dearly.

There will be a service at a later date

Cremation services were under the direction of Rolla Cremation and Memorial.
