Brenda Joyce Burke, 82, St. James, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022.
She was born April 21, 1940, to Elsworth and Marie Rayoum Conley in East St. Louis, Ill.
She was united in marriage to Frank Burke Sr., Sept. 19, 1959, in St. Louis.
Brenda worked at California Manufacturing Coat Company in St. James, as a seamstress and shop stewardest, retiring with 25 years service.
She was preceded in death by husband Frank; parents Elsworth and Marie; and infant brother.
She is survived by daughter Connie Cahill and husband Douglas of Vienna; sons Frank Burke Jr. and Augie Burke and wife Denise all of St. James; brother Curtis Keith Coleman; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Jones Funeral Home with Charles Talley officiating. Burial was at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Fort Leonard Wood.
Memorials suggested to the American Cancer Fund.
