BLAND — The Bland Municipal Court reported receiving $1,346.50 in fines collected during the month of December, according to the court report shared with the mayor and board of aldermen during their Jan. 9 meeting.
From that total, the court distributed $11 to the Police Officer Safety Training fund, $78.43 to the Crime Victims’ Compensation fund, and $77 to the Court Automation Fund used for the Casenet and Show Me Courts software programs. After required distributions, the city retained $1,180.07 in fine revenue.
Court activity for the reporting period included 43 new citations scheduled for arraignment. The court also handled 11 show-cause cases for failure to appear, nine continued cases, one trial, and three bond hearings.
At the time of the report, 12 warrants had been issued for failure to appear.
For the full year of 2025, the Bland Municipal Court collected a total of $22,674.49 in fines.
The next court date is scheduled for Feb. 23 at 6 p.m.
