Billy Lloyd Murphy, 94,Vienna, passed away on March 24, 2026.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1931, to the late Clay Lloyd Murphy and Roy Molinda (Copeland) Murphy, in Maries County.
He was united in marriage to Pauline Jane Parker on June 4, 1955.
Billy Lloyd served his country in the U. S. Army and received an honorable discharge in August 1960.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and a lifetime farmer.
Billy Lloyd was preceded in death by wife, Pauline; parents, Clay and Roy; sister, Mary Ellen Schwartze; and grandson, Coad Murphy Stricklan.
He is survived by son, Jeffrey Lloyd Murphy; daughters, Melanee Jane Stricklan and husband Berry and Carol Jo Schulte and husband John; six grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-granddaughters; and sister-in-law, Sally Goodman.
Private services will be held on April 4. Interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery.
