Nearly 30 students, along with numerous staff members, parents and community members, gathered around the flagpole at Belle High School on Sept. 23 to participate in the national “See You at the Pole,” a morning of prayer event.
The local event was organized by Raelie Harris of First Baptist Church in Belle and brought participants together before the school day for a time of prayer.
“See You at the Pole” is a nationwide student-led event centered on learners gathering at their campus flagpoles to pray for their schools, communities and others.
