BELLE — The 78th annual Belle Fair will return June 3-6 at Belle City Park, bringing four days of livestock shows, competitions, live entertainment and family activities to the community. This year’s fair will feature a “Celebrate America” theme while continuing many of the traditions that have made the event a local favorite for nearly eight decades.

The fair will be held at 1507 W. Parkview Drive in Belle. Throughout the four-day event, visitors can enjoy exhibit halls, vendors, cattle barns, Kenny’s Funland rides, pony rides, face painting and a variety of food and entertainment options. The Belle Community Betterment Association beer garden will be open Wednesday through Saturday.

The fair begins Wednesday with a parade at 5:30 p.m., sponsored by Belle Hardware, LLC. Members of Belle Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3410 will serve as honorary grand marshals. Following the parade, attendees can participate in bingo and enjoy Kenny’s Funland before a welcome ceremony at 7:15 p.m. featuring Belle Fair Board President Gary Jeoffroy, state representatives Bennie Cook, Bruce Sassmann and Bill Hardwick, the 2025 Belle Fair royalty and members of the Belle VFW Hall.

As part of the opening ceremony, VFW members will present the nation’s colors. Emberlynn Elisa Miller will perform the National Anthem, while retiring Little Miss Legacy Herring and Little Mister Harper Rohrer will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The evening will continue with the royalty coronation at 7:30 p.m., featuring more than 40 contestants, followed by a performance by the Belle High School Dance Team and Dance Camp at 8:15 p.m. on the main stage.

Thursday’s activities showcase the fair’s agricultural roots with animal shows beginning at 1 p.m., including poultry, broiler, rabbit and hog events. The schedule includes 6 p.m. market hog and showmanship competitions, followed by the Pee Wee Hog Show. Bingo and pony rides will also be available during the evening. The day concludes with the return of the greased pig contest and chicken scramble at 8 p.m. in the YaYa Arena.

Livestock competitions continue Friday with breeding cattle, sheep and goat events beginning in the afternoon, followed by additional market and showmanship competitions at 6 p.m. The Mid-Missouri Truck and Tractor Pull Association will host truck and tractor pulls, with registration opening at 5 p.m. and competition beginning at 7 p.m. Main-stage entertainment will feature Hat Trick with live fire dancers at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s schedule begins with sign-ups for the kids fishing tournament at 6 a.m., followed by fishing at 6:30 a.m. The day also includes the 42nd Kingsford Cook-Off, with registration opening at 10 a.m., tractor pull competitions, a cornhole tournament and the annual 4-H/FFA livestock auction at 2 p.m. A kiddie tractor pull is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Tractor pull events featuring the Garden Tractor Pullers of Mid-Missouri, the Ozark Highlanders and The Stubborn Mule will take place throughout the day Saturday. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Classes will range from youth divisions to open and modified categories.

Saturday evening entertainment opens with Owen Kloeppel at 7 p.m. Ruby Leigh will headline the main stage beginning at 8:30 p.m.
