Ann Marie Dingley, age 78, of Belle passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Ann was born June 29, 1945, a daughter to the late Charles and Rose (Conner) Struemph in Summerfield.

She was a 1963 graduate of Belle High School, and a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to Charles Ray Dingley, June 15, 1963, at the First Baptist Church in Belle. From this union, three boys were born. The family lived in St. Clair for almost 30 years before returning home to the Belle area. Charles survives of their home near Belle.

Ann loved her church and her church family. She was extremely active in it as a teacher, was hard working in the outreach department, and was a member of the quilting club. Her faith in God was strong and she will be missed greatly by her church family. Ann’s hobbies included sewing, gardening and planting flowers in the spring, listening to gospel and bluegrass music, and bird watching. She was kind and giving and her best times were spent with her grandchildren whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Rose; and sister, Rose Shaffer.

Ann is survived by husband of almost 61 years, Charles; sons, Charles David Dingley and wife Shirley of Grubville, Wesley Ray Dingley and wife Gloria of Davis Junction, Ill., and John Mark Dingley and wife Takara of DeSoto; grandchildren, Jarred Dingley and wife Raven, Courtney Dingley, and Wesley Ryan Dingley; and siblings, Clarence Struemph and wife Joyce of DeSoto, Charles “Jack” Struemph of St. Clair, Larry Struemph and wife Lina of Belle, and Henry Struemph of Belle; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Faith Baptist Church at a later date and will be announced by Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Faith Baptist Building Fund.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sassmann’s Chapel, Belle.
