William “Bill” Parron Chandler III, 75, Dixon, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021, at his residence.

He was born May 4, 1945, to William Parron and Mae Beatrice (Cogswell) Chandler, Sr., in Persia, Iowa. 

He was united in marriage to Nina Ann (Heck) Chandler. 

Bill served in the U1945-2021.S. Marine Corps from 1965–1975 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the MUC, the PUC, the NUC, the Vietnam MUC, and the Vietnam Civic Action (1st Class). He worked as a self-employed computer technician for the remainder of his working life, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by wife Nina; parents William and Mae; and brother Clinton H. Chandler.

A graveside funeral service, with military honors, was held at the Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, Penn.
