Central Missouri region manufacturers are seeking team members to immediately fill a variety of positions at a manufacturing virtual job fair Tuesday, March 23.
The Central Workforce Development Board (CWDB) and the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (DHEWD) have partnered with the Missouri Association of Manufacturers to host the Return Strong Virtual Job Fair. This job fair is part of the Return Strong series to help Missourians get back to work as quickly as possible despite the state facing record unemployment rates due to COVID-19.
DHEWD is offering virtual job fairs for all types of employment, but specific dates are focused on healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and information technology.
Dates of other upcoming virtual job fairs, along with their respective focuses are:
• Tuesday, April 6: Healthcare
• Tuesday, April 20: Regular
• Tuesday, May 4: Regular
• Tuesday, May 18: Information Technology
• Tuesday, June 8: Remote and Part-time
Virtual “booths” will be loaded with each participating company’s content along with a chat function that will be accessible from any location or device.
Employers will be able to meet job candidates and share information about their organization and job opening specifics through an online video conference. Presentations about resume writing and interview tips will be presented each hour during the job fair.
