Vienna stakeholders, members of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, and persons interested in the community are encouraged to attend the Vienna Town Hall and Stakeholders meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 1. It will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Vienna United Methodist Church from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This community engagement meeting is an important step in involving the community in the downtown revitalization process. The Missouri Main Street Connection (MMSC) staff will meet with those who attend to get their input on the current condition of the district and what they see as the future of it.
The first hour will be a presentation by MMSC staff explaining it and its model for revitalization. In the second hour community members will be broken up into four groups to establish the Wildly Important Goals (WIGS) that will help guide the process into the next steps.
