Rained out of their first three scheduled contest during the Rolla Summer Softball League throughout the month of July, Vienna Lady Eagle Softball finally got a chance to take the field last Tuesday against the host Rolla Lady Bulldogs. Incoming freshman pitcher Delaney Schwartze (above, center) huddles with the rest of her infield prior to the start of game one of last Tuesday’s doubleheader at Rolla Middle School. Players hitting or pitching at Rolla (clockwise from far left) include Madison Weeks, Aubrey Schwartze, Delaney Schwartze and Salene George. First-year head coach Jessica (Tolliver) Gibbs will look to help the Lady Eagles continue their streak of conference titles when Vienna joins the Show-Me Central Conference after leaving the Gasconade Valley Conference.
