Jason and Brandy Kampeter have strong roots in the Vienna community. They are both Maries County born and raised and they are both graduates of Vienna High School.
The Kampeters are the owners of the Vienna Quik Spot at 104 Highway 63 in Vienna. It’s a local convenience store and gas station with a deli. Jason said while working for Jim Wansing, the former owner, he helped him see the potential of success there with hard work.
They have owned the business since June 27, 2001. It’s a busy place as locals and persons traveling through Vienna stop for gas, a quick bite to eat, or a six pack of beer.
The Vienna Quik Spot’s current employees include Manager Megan Thompson, and Kacie Workman, Caid Stockstill, Beth Wulff, Kim Obenauer, Caleb Horman, along with several other high school workers.
Current specials include some Megan has for the deli. Check out VQS Facebook page for details. To contact VQS call 573-422-3944 or see them on Facebook.
Hours of operations are 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. through the week and VQS is open until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Jason said, “I would like to thank the community for all the support. Without them, we would not have made it this long.”
