Members of the Vienna community where shocked to learn of the passing of Coad “Cody” Stricklan on Thursday. Stricklan was a youth baseball coach in the Vienna community for many years, a leader in FFA and 4-H activities, Co-Founder of the “Left Field Lounge Lizards” and many more organizations in the area. Stricklan (above) helps a young man with his steer at the 2021 Maries County Fair. Stricklan was known for helping and volunteering to help members of FFA and 4-H with agriculture projects throughout the year. A funeral service was held Monday at the United Methodist Church with an overflowing crowd.
