Vienna High School hosted its annual eighth grade promotion ceremony on May 19 to welcome the Class of 2029 as high school freshmen. Each student received a certificate of promotion, and a select group of students earned awards for exhibiting qualities such as integrity, preparation and commitment. The students received another perk: no classes on May 20, the last day of school.
