The Vienna Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Christmas Around the Square event on Dec. 3 near the Maries County Courthouse.
At 3 p.m. Santa will make his grand entrance to the square. Visitors can spend the afternoon taking photos with Santa. From 3:15 to 5:45 p.m. visitors can stop at food trucks and browse items from vendors. The library will be open for crafts. Other attractions include a bounce house and caroling performances.
At 6 p.m. there will be a tree lighting ceremony followed by the 1st Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. The chamber of commerce is looking for vehicles to enter the parade. Entries may include tractors, ATVs, trucks, trailers, cars and emergency vehicles, but the only requirement is that the vehicle has Christmas lights. To sign up to join the parade, visit the chamber of commerce’s website at viennamococ.com.
