The Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Vienna Main Street’s annual spring festival is back and rebranded for its second edition. This year, it is the Vienna Sausage and Crawfish Festival.
The event will occur at the Maries County Fairground on May 6 at 3 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. In addition to the food, there will be beer and live music from Rolla-based acoustic classic rock band Trilogy. Country music radio station KZNN will also be at the festival.
There will be a $10 entry fee for the festival that will benefit downtown revitalization projects. Vienna Main Street was born after meetings with Missouri Main Street Connection, a nonprofit focused on building up downtown areas around the state as economic hubs. The goals of Vienna Main Street include enhancing the appearance of the community, inspiring business growth and encouraging and creating opportunities for tourism in the community with events such as the upcoming festival.
