Thomas George Alexander, 82, Osage Beach, formerly of Dixon, passed away Sunday, April, 4, 2021, in Eldon Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born April 3, 1939, to Thomas Gean and Gladys Irene (Rowden) Alexander.
He was united in marriage to Mathiel Bailey, May 31, 1958, in Iberia.
Thomas was a member of the Christian faith. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Arlington Masonic Lodge Post No. 346 A.F. & A.M, Dixon. He worked for Alltel as the general manager of customer service prior to his 1993 retirement.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gean and Gladys; and brother, Donald E. Alexander.
He is survived by wife, Mathiel, of Osage Beach; son, Tom Alexander of Osage Beach; daughter, Belinda French and husband Mark of Dixon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 8, at Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel in Dixon with Bro. Mark Rowden of Stonebrook Church in Waynesville officiating.
Interment with full military honors was in Freedom Cemetery near Dixon. Memorial contributions suggested to to the Freedom Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
