Thelma May Korsky, 81, of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Feb. 6, 1941, to Eldee Jack and Ellen Louise (Hathaway) Korsky in Montour Falls, N.Y.
She was first united in marriage to Casper Youngs who preceded her in death. Thelma was later united in marriage on May 28, 1988, in New York State, to Wayne Arnold Korsky who also preceded her in death.
Thelma attended First Assembly of God Church, St. James.
She was preceded in death by parents, Eldee and Ellen; husbands, Casper and Wayne; son-in-law, James Potter; and brothers, David Sanford at six months old and Joseph Youngs.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Dacey (Timothy) of Erin, N.Y., and Julie Potter of Elmira, N.Y.; sons, Timothy Youngs (Penny) of Vienna, and Christopher Youngs of Rolla; sister, Ruth Crapo of South Carolina; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 17, from 5–7 p.m., in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel, Vienna.
