Tammy Lynn Tripp, 63, Owensville, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital, Washington.
She was born March 20, 1958, in St. Louis, a daughter to the late Earl Combest and Lavelle Tripp.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Born Gatanny Lynn Tripp, her family dubbed her Tammy and that is what they called her. She came into her “family” in 1974, when she met Rhonda Vancil in school. They immediately bonded as sisters and remained lifelong friends. Tammy was kindhearted and her favorite color was pink. She loved stuffed animals and putting together jig saw puzzles. Tammy loved animals and especially the babies. She will be truly missed by those that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by parents Earl and Lavelle.
Tammy is survived by four siblings; closest and lifelong friend Rhonda; adopted aunt LaGuin Barnett; as well as a host of friends that she made through the years.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
