Sherri “Doodle” Lamb, 51, Freeburg, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 21, 1969, to Robert and Ruth (Fletcher) Bechel, in Jefferson City.
She was united in marriage to Tony Lamb, Jan. 20, 2012, in Jefferson City.
Sherri was a 1988 graduate of Jefferson City High School and Linn State Technical College in 1990.
She was preceded in death by father, Robert; brothers, Ronnie Bechel, Terry Lee Crocker and Randy Crocker; and sister, Tammy Crocker.
She is survived by daughter, Ashley and husband Tony; mother, Ruth Bechel; Dean Lamb and wife Jenny and Candi Lamb and Joe; siblings, James Crocker and wife Delores of Batesville, Billy Crocker and wife Kim of Bethany, Larry Crocker and wife Margie of Arizona, Linda Crocker of Pasadena, Gail Hannaford and husband Dave of Wasola, Mike Crocker and wife Cathy of Lohman, Patty Bates and husband Darrel of Jefferson City, Brenda Crocker of Topeka, Kan., Bobby Crocker of Fulton, Candy McQuiston and husband Bryan of Allen, Susan Woods and husband Dennis and Betty Shepherd, all of Pleasant Hill; and eight grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday, Jan. 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City, followed by a celebration of life. Friends and family are encouraged to wear bright colors or beach attire. Memorial contributions suggested to Valley Hope, Boonville, or Hart Hill Cemetery, Fulton.
