VIENNA — The Rainey House in Vienna began in 1990 by Gloria Martin who opened it as a gift shop. It remained that until 2017. Then the younger generation of Martin family took an interest in the business and re-opened it as a boutique with a unique and fresh look.

Meredith Kloeppel and Natalie Martin are the current owners of this popular boutique in Vienna. The Rainey House is the Vienna Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for December.

The Rainey House is located at 405 South Main Street. It carries apparel, jewelry, home decor items, memorial flowers and gifts, and has seasonal gift merchandise.

The owners are busy working women. Meredith works at Capital Region Medical Center as a labor and delivery nurse, and she is a clinical instructor at Columbia College in the nursing department. Natalie is the Maries R-1 grades 7-12 school counselor. She also is the assistant cross county coach and assistant track and field coach for the Eagles.

The two women wanted to have a business in Vienna because they love the community and wanted to offer quality, affordable merchandise locally. The Rainey House has three employees.

It’s hours of operation are Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday noon until 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon. The business can be contacted by calling 573-422-6216, on Facebook and a private Facebook group, The Rainey House Boutique VIP Shopping.
