Pam L. Jones, 62, Sylvester, Ga., passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021.
She was born Dec. 26, 1958, to Robert M. and Carole L. Jones in Vallejo Calif.
She graduated from Dougherty High School in 1977.
Pam met the love of her life, Larry Connell, in 1985.
She was employed with Palmyra Park Hospital, PPMH, and several private physicians in medical transcribing for over 30 years.
Having moved every two to three years from the West Coast to the East with her military family, Pam stayed with her grandparents on their farm near Vienna. She and her siblings attended Maries County Schools in Vienna.
Pam was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Carole; son, Joshua; and brother, Dave Jones, of Charleston, S.C.
She is survived by her partner; Larry; sons, William and Nicolas; sister and brother-in-law, Debi J. and Kevin Griffin of Blue Ridge, Ga.
Funeral services were held Nov. 22, in Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, Ga. with Ross Powell officiating.
Private interment will be in the Vienna Public Cemetery in Vienna.
Memorial contributions suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
