Vienna City Hall will be back in operation with a new city clerk behind the desk starting Monday, Oct. 18.
The Vienna City Council recently offered the job to Karen Dudenhoeffer of Vienna, and she accepted. Dudenhoeffer is currently an administrative manager at the Missouri State Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Bureau in the central office. She’s been with the department for over 30 years and will be retiring this month.
Her work experience will help her with the city clerk position and all its functions. Dudenhoeffer has held positions from front-line processing to supervisory and project management.
Some of her accomplishments and awards include Missouri Department of Revenue employee of the month, Missouri employee of the month, Governor’s Award for quality the productivity, Road to 100, and the most recent was the 5th Cycle ShowMe Challenge: MVDL Electronic Notification, which she was awarded in September.
Dudenhoeffer is from a large family of four brothers and three sisters. They were raised on a Century Farm, dairy farm in Rich Fountain. Her parents, Cap and Laura Luebbert, Sr., have since retired from the dairy business, but still reside on the home place where they raise beef cattle.
Dudenhoeffer is single and is dating Derek Hutson of Vienna. She has two children, Ashley Hoffman (Lucas) of Linn, and Kyle Dudenhoeffer, whose fiancé is Michaella Forck, both of Ballwin, and two grandchildren, Kendall and Blake Hoffman.
