Nellie Lee Hand, 91, Dixon, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct. 13, 1930, to Herman A. and Edna Marie (Arnold) Scott, in Moorman, Ky.
She was united in marriage to Curtis Dean Hand, Sept. 28, 1946, at Venice, Ill.
Nellie was the librarian at the Jessie E. McCully Memorial Library–Dixon Library for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents Herman and Edna; husband Curtis; brother Herman Billie Scott; and sister Margie Mae Hand.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 26, in the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon, with Chaplain Paul Posey, Regional Hospice, Lebanon officiating.
