Melissa “Missy” Gayle Frank, 46, Jefferson City, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022.

She was born May 11, 1976, to Janice (Frank) Troesser.

She attended grade school in Taos and Frankenstein. and graduated from Fatima High School in 1994.

Missy was employed for many years at JCPenney’s, then at Scholastics and her latest job was working for the Department of Social Services.

She enjoyed a busy life of wine tasting parties, crafting, camping, fishing, classic car cruises, poker runs (in Jerry’s Nova or Tim’s Chevelle), raising money for Relay for Life and even raising over a $1000 herself in one year and especially hanging with all her family and friends.

Missy was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents; godfather, Bob; and aunts and uncles.

She is survived by mother and step-father, Janice and Jerry Troesser; brothers, Tim Troesser and Matt Troesser and wife Megan, all of Frankenstein; beloved nephew and godson, Caleb; niece, Evelyn and another on the way; godmother, Denise and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 19, with Father Colin P. Franklin officiating. Visitation will follow from 5 to 7 p.m., both at Houser-Millard Funeral Home in Jefferson City. A celebration of her life is to be held at a later date.
