Mary Kathleen “Kathi” Ioane, 65, Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on July 26, 1956, to Robert Dean and Mary Ellen Joann (Williams) Cardin, in Dixon.
She was united in marriage, to Dominic Ioane Aug. 9, 2000.
Kathi had been employed as a substitute teacher, an administrator at Ft. Leonard Wood, and in her spare time, she helped her father with his business, R & M Fiberglass manufacturing and Country View Acres Campground.
She was preceded in death by father Robert (Bob) Cardin.
She is survived by husband Nick of Dixon; mother Mary both of Dixon; son Andrew and wife Chanelle Ioane of Waynesville; daughters Rachael Martin and Christina Jarman both of Dixon, Angel and husband Jim Trapp of Florida; brothers Larry and wife Jeannie Cardin of Dixon and Eddie and wife Tina Cardin of Iberia; sister Dawn and husband Jeremy Tope of Dixon; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon with funeral services following with Bro. Robert Hamm officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville.
