Marjorie Lee Wood Homan, 97, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021.
She was born July 10, 1923, to Elbert R. and Hazel B. (Foster) Wood, in Huntington Park, Calif.
She was united in marriage to Raymond W. Holman, March 5, 1944, in Wichita, Kan.
Margie was a 1940 graduate of East High School in Wichita, Kan. She attended the University of Wichita and Friends University during WWII and was a member of Delta Rho Alpha Nu sorority. She then served the war effort at Douglas Aircraft in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by parents, Elbert and Hazel; and husband, Raymond.
She is survived by daughters, Jeanette Cumming and husband Steve of Dallas, Texas, and Barbara Baker and husband Kent of Salt Lake City, Utah; sons, Raymond W. Holman Jr. and wife Lynn of Commerce City, Colo., and Donald W. Holman and wife Caroline of Ft. Collins, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending. Interment will be in Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo. Memorial contributions suggested to Rader United Methodist Church or Rader Cemetery, Vienna.
