Margaret Helen “Sissy” Viessman, 93, Jefferson City, formerly of Vienna, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022.
She was born March 12, 1928, to the late Leo John and Josephine Bernadine (Lock) Temmen in Westphalia.
She was united in marriage to Norbert Clarence Viessman, Aug. 26, 1950, in Argyle.
Sissy was a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Vienna and the VFW Post 8045 Auxiliary in Argyle.
She was employed with Tweedie Shoe Company, the hat factory, Cheeseborough Ponds, Chambers Department store as well as helping families with their day-to-day chores in their homes.
Sissy is survived by children Gary Viessman and wife Donna of Jefferson City, Mark Viessman of Vienna, Rhonda Williams and husband Kevin of Union, and Rodney Viessman and wife Cheryl of Wardsville; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday, March 15, at Visitation Catholic Church, Vienna.
Interment was in Visitation Cemetery, Vienna.
