An early Valentine’s Day present for the senior trio of Molly Busch, Hali Naber and Morgan Willis.
That is what Evin Farris’ Belle Lady Tigers were looking to deliver Monday night during senior-night basketball action at Belle High School against Calvary Lutheran’s Lady Lions.
Blowing the game open with a 22-5 third-quarter run, Belle went on to post a 56-30 senior-night victory over their opponents from Jefferson City.
Anastyn Lansford led the Lady Tigers with a game-high 18 points followed in double figures by Nevaeh Kinsey who scored all 11 of her points in the first half.
Naber just missed making it a trio of double-digit scorers for the Lady Tigers scoring six of her eight points in the second half.
Willis scored four of her five points in the third quarter to go along with the duo of McKenna Loughridge and Cylee Reed adding three points apiece.
Rounding out the scoring for Belle with two points each were the quartet of Victoria Busch, Miranda Sanders, Saige Garner and Ava Feeler.
Last Monday, Belle’s Lady Tigers picked up a home game against Eugene’s Lady Eagles.
Posting a 16-0 first-quarter shutout, Belle went on to defeat the visiting Lady Eagles 48-16.
Lansford and Kinsey shared game-high scoring honors for Belle putting in 11 points apiece.
Naber and Victoria Busch each added eight points for the Lady Tigers.
Busch also recorded a game-high five steals. Naber grabbed a team-high six rebounds and four steals to go with her eight points.
