Kamron R. Picard (Turner), 17, of Belle, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at his home.

He was born Sept. 30, 2005, in St. Louis, a son to Brenda (Wilcox) and Frankie Turner.

He attended Belle High School and had just finished his sophomore year. He was a good student and took welding, something he was very good at, and was a member of 4-H and showed livestock at the county fair. Kamron was the third oldest of 15 siblings and was very protective of them as well as anyone he cared for. He had a heart of gold and was always a happy-go-lucky kid. Being a country boy, Kamron enjoyed being outdoors, hunting or fishing, riding his dune buggy or helping his uncle Chris out on the farm. Even at a young age he was able to operate and fix the equipment around the farm and could back a trailer better than even a seasoned hauler. Kamron’s role models were father, Frankie and uncle Chris Rose and Chad Gassel was his icon. Gone too soon, Kamron will be missed by family, friends, classmates, and everyone who knew and loved him.

Kamron is preceded in death by brothers, Alex J. Turner and Bentlee J. Turner; sister, Kassidy Turner; uncle, David Turner; maternal grandparents, Bob and “Cookie” Ritovato, Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Janet Wolfenbarker and Art Tuner.

He is survived by parents, Brenda and Frankie; brothers and sisters, Marrisa Picard, Richard Picard, Jr., Shyann Turner, Frankie Turner, Jr., Harleigh Turner, Jakobe Turner, Isaac Turner, Lukas Turner, Aleesha Turner, Aubree Turner and Ryder Turner; special cousins but more like siblings, Keith Rose and C.J. Turner; grandmother Anita Ficken and grandfather Bill Rose; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation for Kamron will be held Thursday, June 1, from 1–3 p.m. at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle. Funeral Services will follow at 3 p.m. with Jimmy Hance officiating. Interment will be in the Bland Union Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the family or to an account set up for funeral expenses at Maries County Bank.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sassmann’s Chapel, Belle.
