John Aaron Walters, 24, of Belle passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2022, from heart failure in Miami, Fla.

He was born June 2, 1998, to Kent Walters and Jeris Bliss Walters in Rolla.

He was a graduate of River High School in New Port Richey, Fla.

John began to pursue a life on the water working at Shelly’s Seafood in Homosassa, Fla. He then took a position at Orkin in Paducah, Ky. He was a ranch hand, trout fishing guide, bronc rider, hunting guide and deckhand. John finally reached his goal of living that ocean life using his captain’s license and enjoying his work at SeaTow in Miami Fla.

John was preceded in death by grandparents James and Loretta Dowler Bliss.

He is survived by parents Jeris Bliss Walters and Kent Walters; sister Kayla Walters Butler and husband Kurtis; and grandparents Ron Walters and Dianna Price Fowler.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sept. 10, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., in Belle City Park, Belle. Please feel free to bring a fishing pole to join us in tossing a line in honor of John. Food provided. For more information email Kayla 16kbutler@gmail.com.
