Janice Anette Griffin, 68, of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Maries Manor.
She was born March 16, 1953, to Albert Langdon and Jessie Mae (Roberts) Askins, at Montgomery, Ala.
She attended Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, and shortly after high school, she joined the US Air Force.
She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Jessie and brother, William B. Askins.
She is survived by sisters, Suzanne (John) Morrison, Gatesville, Texas; and Cinthia Wendling, Pflugerville, Texas; brother, Edward A. (Miranda) Askins, Granbury, Texas; nephews; nieces; great-nephews; great-nieces; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 2021, in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, with full military honors and interment following, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, in Vienna.
