James Frederick Reynard, 88, Vienna, passed away suddenly Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, while visiting relatives in Clark.
He was born July 9, 1933, to Willis James and Marguerite (Wheeler) Reynard in Des Moines, Iowa.
He was united in marriage May 30, 1975, to Mary Catherine “Cathy” (Humphrey) Reynard in Rolla.
Jim served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of First Baptist Church, Vienna. He was employed by the University of Missouri, Columbia, in the operation of their Power Plant for twenty-eight years and retired in September of 1992.
He was preceded in death by parents Willis and Marguerite; and brother Richard Reynard.
He is survived by wife Cathy, of almost forty-seven years; step-sons Eugene Rowden (Loetta Ireland) of Vienna, and Mark Rowden (Tina) of Dixon; sister Greta Fink of Phoenix, Ariz.; four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 28, from 10–11 a.m., in First Baptist Church, Vienna, with his funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. Chris Slocum officiating.
Inurnment will be in Madden Ford Cemetery, Iberia, at later date.
