Henry Grover “Hank” Koppelman, 75, of Dixon, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at Phelps Health, Rolla.
He was born on March 6, 1947, to Grover and Katherine (Koncor) Koppelman at Joliet, Ill.
He was united in marriage to Lynn Bell, Jan. 31, 1970, at Joliet, Ill.
Hank served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967–1971 when he was honorably discharged at McGuire Air Force Base, N.J. having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked for Exxon Mobil as a machinist for over 33 years, retiring in 2005.
He was preceded in death by parents, Grover and Katherine; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Howard and Rosemary Bell; brother-in-law, Dennis Bell; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Koppelman.
Hank is survived by wife, Lynn of the home; son, Chris Koppelman of Dixon; brother, Ken Koppelman and wife Carol of Phoenix, Ariz.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eric Bell of Phoenix, Ariz., Bernie Bell and wife Shelley of Hayward, Wis., Gerry Bell and wife Cynthia of Ottawa, Ill., Debby Bell of Morris, Ill., and Peggy Bell of Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be held in Joliet, Ill., at a later date and time to be announced.
