The Phelps/Maries County Health Department has been notified of its fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 for Maries County. This individual is a household member of the positive case identified on June 20 and is currently isolated at home. Maries County Emergency Management Director Scott John posted on the EM Facebook page on June 21.
He said the health department is diligently working through the contact tracing as recommended by the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. Identified contacts will be notified directly by the health department and any public locations of potential exposure will be released.
