Grace Kathryn (Norton) Rollins was born May 20,1938 in Radcliff, Ohio, to Harry and Ruth (Zinn) Norton. She passed away on Dec. 7, 2022, in Mission Viejo, Calif.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She married William E. Rollins in 1955, and they built a wonderful life together. Grace was an amazing cook and many fond memories are centered around this gift.
Grace’s kindness, empathy and compassion were paired with strength and resilience. She regretted not completing high school, so as a mother of four at the age of 50, she took the GED and returned to college to study horticulture and floral design. This afforded her many hours of joy gardening, crafting, and creating beautiful floral arrangements. She personified her favorite hymn, “Amazing Grace.”
Grace is survived by sons and daughters, Darrell Rollins (Robin), Valerie Kim Brauks (Craig), Richard Rollins (Treasur) and Victoria Lynn May (Keith); 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brother, John Norton (Priscilla), as well as many nieces and nephews.
