Glen Allen Piles, 68, Owensville, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur.
Glen was born March 15, 1953, to Donald and Jeanette (Kottwitz) Piles in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Niemann, June 17, 1972, in St. Louis.
Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs play. He worked as a machinist/toolmaker at Chrysler.
He was preceded in death by parents Donald and Jeanette Piles; and brother-in-law and best friend Floyd McCormick.
He is survived by wife Patricia Piles of the home; children Brian Piles and wife Cassie of Bland, and Stacey Piles-Wade and husband William of Owensville; sisters Donna Tallent and Virginia McCormick both of Owensville; and grandsons Jacob Piles of Owensville, and Brett Piles and fiancé Brianna Bunners.
Visitation will be Wednesday (today), Feb. 16, from 4–8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel, Owensville.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at the chapel with Pastor Charles Stover officiating. Burial will be at Owensville City Cemetery.
