With 16 of 17 precincts reporting as of 9:27 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, the half-cent sales tax for law enforcement in Gasconade County was winning 1,115 to 933. The only outstanding precinct yet to be counted was Redbird, Mo., a relatively small collection of voters. This is an unofficial count and not yet final, according to the Gasconade County Clerk's staff. Official results will be released later this week once the voting is certified by County Clerk Lesa Lietzow and her staff.
