Evelyn Melody “Dee” Wood, 78, of St. James, passed away Nov. 11, 2024, in her home with her daughters by her side.
She was born Dec. 12, 1945, to Gordon “Chick” Moreland and Blanche Dewing Moreland in Rolla.
She was preceded in death by parents, Gordon and Blanche; and husband, Ronald Gary Wood.
She is survived by daughters, Melody Clinton and husband Brad and Ronna Breeding and husband Shawn; three grandsons; and one great-grandson.
There will be a private graveside service Saturday, Nov. 23. A Celebration of Life will be held Nov. 23, from 5–7 p.m., at the St. James Golf Course.
Memorial suggested to the Phelps County Animal Rescue.
