Dorsie Wayne Mosher, Jr., 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at StoneBridge Villa Marie in Jefferson City.
He was born on Dec. 21, 1937, in Vichy, to Dorsie Wayne Mosher, Sr. and Edythe (Dehn) Mosher. After graduating from Belle High School, he entered the Navy. After that, he pursued his studies in Marketing at the University of Missouri.
Over the years, Dorsie worked for Vitacraft and various electronic security system companies including Siemens Inc., Radionics. He partnered with Davis Marketing Group, Inc. and operated Integrated Security Systems, Inc.
He was united in marriage to Natalia Eduardovna Bulygina in Hermann, in 2010.
Dorsie was a member of First Baptist Church in Jefferson City and enjoyed several hobbies such as boating at Lake of the Ozarks and spending time at his family farm located in Gasconade County. He also loved working outdoors in his yard and garden and travelling.
He was preceded in death by parents, Wayne and Edythe; sisters, Betty (Art) Tucker, Vera (Al) Piazza, Margaret (Leo) Bentlage; and brothers, Carl Mosher and Ronald Mosher.
He is survived by wife, Natalia; son, Dorsie Wayne Mosher III (Debbie) of Stream Wood, Ill.; grandchildren, Andy (Kayci) Mosher and Nick (Ashley) Mosher; great-grandchildren, Brynn and Colton; siblings, Patricia (Liza Hearns) Straw and Randall Mosher; and sisters-in-law Sarah Mosher and Sadie Mosher.
A private ceremony will be held at the family farm.
