Delores Wilma (Vincent) Perkins, 85, Belle, passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at MU Hospital.

She was born October 9, 1935, to Gilbert Joseph and Minnie Mina (Leach) Vincent, in Cooper Hill.

She was united in marriage to Thomas Jacob Perkins, December 30, 1956, in Owensville.

Delores attended school in Cooper Hill and graduated the 8th grade in 1950.

Delores was a lifelong resident of the Belle area and a member of the Assembly of God Church where she was the secretary/treasurer for over 50 years. She worked for the International Shoe Company most of her young adult life, Casey’s for a short time, and subbed as a cook for the Maries R-2 School; but her true calling was being a “Nana.” She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and going to church. Her greatest love was time spent with family, friends, and her church family.

She is preceded in death by parents Gilbert and Minnie; husband Thomas; daughter Karen Ganice Perkins; son Keith Douglas Perkins; son-in-law Danny Lynn Bray; brothers Troy Vincent, Melvin and wife Fern Vincent, Buel “Jack” and wife Edith Vincent, Harvey “Billy” Vincent, Clyde “Raymond” and wife Clara Vincent, and Delmar Vincent; sisters Opal and husband Frank Nixon and Maybelle and husband Rude Nixon; brothers-in-law Charles and wife Joann Perkins, John and wife Marie Perkins, Fred and wife Marie Perkins, David McNeel, Maurice “Sunny” Hayes; and sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann Perkins and Coleta (Perkins) and husband Don Murray.

Delores is survived by daughter Sandra Diann Perkins-Bray of Belle and son Jerry Wayne and wife Misty Perkins of Belle; sister Yvonne and husband Robert Ickenroth of O’Fallon; brother-in-law Billy and wife Terri Perkins of Belle; sisters-in-laws Doris Hayes of Wheatland and Cora and husband Jerry Bonebrake of Rolla; seven grandchildren Josh and wife Jasmine Perkins, Thomas and wife Adell Bray, Justin and wife Kayla Bray, Madison and husband Michael Kneeskern all of Belle, Nick and wife Amanda Perkins of Blue Springs, Seth Perkins, Misty and husband Edwin Barnes of Center Point; 22 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

A visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 27, at the Faith Christian Center Assembly of God, Belle, with funeral services following with Bro. Bill Perkins officiating. Interment followed in the Liberty Cemetery near Belle.
