David Kenneth Carroll, Jr., 81, Dixon, passed awayTuesday, April 8, 2025, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dixon.
He was born March 27, 1944, to the late David, Sr. and Shirley (Lamb) Carroll in Phoenix, Ariz.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
David was united in marriage to Lois E. Nelson Aug. 19, 2000.
He was preceded in death by parents, David, Sr. and Shirley; brother, Roy Carroll; and sisters, Patricia, Alana and Chrisy Carroll.
He is survived by wife, Lois Carroll of the home; stepsons, Robby Roberson and wife Sherry of Dixor and Trevor Hayes and wife Donnella of Rocky Mount; brother, Tommy Carroll; sisters, Mary Ross, Theresa Hantzsche, Eileen Congo and Eva Garcia; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The American Legion Post 298 final salute was held April 12, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel in Dixon.
Inurnment will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 17, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.
