VIENNA — Chaney and Tara Beltz of Vienna will assume ownership of the Crossroads Convenience Store in western Maries County on Saturday, May 1.
The young couple has purchased the business from Mike and Roberta Juergens, who established the business from the ground up.
Beltz said the convenience store located near the Junction of Highway 42 West and 133, will be renamed Highway 42 Crossroads Convenience Store. The local convenience store will carry the same items as the Juergens did, which includes gasoline/diesel, liquor and beer, cigarettes, all types of deli food including breakfast, and all the many items the store’s customers have come to expect.
Beltz said he wanted to work for himself and is excited about this new venture.
Beltz has a bachelor’s degree in biology and his wife is an RN. The couple has two young sons, Redding, age 3, and Holt, age 1.
The community wishes them the best in their new endeavor, and many thanks to the Juergens family for their years of service at the convenience store.
