The Vienna Eagle Pride band hosted a Winter Concert on Thursday evening at the Vienna high school gym. Students from the sixth grade, Junior High and High School bands performed a total of six songs during the concert.
During the 2021 Vienna Eagle Pride Winter Concert parents got to see how much their students had learned during the first half of the school year. The Sixth Grade Band preformed ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Up on a Housetop’, the Junior High Band played ‘Good King Nutcraker’ and ‘Secret Agent Sugar Plum’, the high school Eagle Pride Band finished the night out with ‘Sleigh Ride’ and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’. The bands are under the direction of Ray Spiller. Vienna music teach Blake Bard assisted the band by narrating ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’. More photos from the bands performances will be in the Maries County Advocate Christmas edition on Dec. 22.
