Diana and Gary Biere of Bland, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary, Saturday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m., at Bland Christian Church in the Fellowship Hall. The celebration dinner was given by their children Joshua Biere and wife Shelley of Owensville and Tabatha Cook and husband Justin of Salem, with the help of several family members. The cake was baked and decorated by daughter Tabatha. Many family members and friends were attendance.
Diana Lynn Husch and Gary Wayne Biere were united in marriage Aug 28, 1971, at the Zion United Church of Christ in Bland, and a reception was held at the bride’s parents home in Owensville.
Diana is a retired accountant and husband Gary is a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief and retired Linn State Technical College of Missouri Instructor.
