Joining Smith on the Class 3, District 6 Girls Basketball All-District Team include Myra Claas (Tipton), Briar Cox (Tipton), Lindsey Hostetler (Linn), Alison Schrimpf (Russellville), Amynja Belt (Stover), Lacie Spencer (Iberia), Cami Grayson (Russellville), Macie Edwards (Tipton), Kiley Bailey (Tipton), Lindsey Brandt (Linn) and Julie Marriot (Stover).

On defense, she averaged 2.4 steals per game and 2.1 blocks per contest.
Seeing their season end with a 43-31 loss to Linn in the first round of districts, Belle saw the Lady Wildcats upset Russellville 63-42 in the district semifinals to reach the championship game against the top-seeded Tipton Lady Cardinals.
Tipton ended Linn’s season handing them a 62-41 loss in the district championship game.
Defeating South Callaway 70-53 last Wednesday in sectional action, Tipton advanced to the quarterfinals Saturday against Clark County’s Lady Indians.
Posting a 60-46 victory, Tipton advanced to the MSHSAA Class 3 Girls Show-Me Showdown scheduled for later this week in Springfield.
Finishing 15-7 overall this season, two of Belle’s opponents were still playing as of press time.
Also in Class 3, Steelville’s Lady Cardinals advanced to the final four in Springfield following a 62-54 victory over Miller Saturday afternoon at Willard High School.
Steelville will now face Lift for Life Academy Charter on Friday at 6 p.m., at the Hammons Student Center on the Missouri State University (MSU) campus in Springfield.
Defeating Eldon during the Comet Classic in mid-January, Belle can say that they posted at least one win over a district champion.
Eldon won the Class 4, District 10 Girls Basketball Tournament and will travel to Blair Oaks tonight (Wednesday) to face the Lady Falcons in Class 4 sectional basketball action.
