BELLE — With local and big-name entertainment and new events, the 75th Belle Fair June 28-July 1 will kick off its “Diamonds Are Fairever” event with a bang.

The Main Stage will host DRZHIVEGAS on Saturday night as its upbeat talent to rock the holiday weekend..

DRZHIVEGAS has “reigned supreme as one of the most beloved and hardest working dance rock acts in the United States.”

The band has sold out venues and theaters in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Chicago and has recently added shows in the Midwest. Their music is a tribute to Prince and the Revolution and the band is entering its third decade in live entertainment. Band members will take the stage at 9 p.m. and break at 10:30 for the “Wildest and Brightest Fireworks Show.”

Other events are as follows:

Wednesday, June 28, will feature Show-Me Axe Throwing from 5 to 8 p.m., “Diamonds Are Fairever” parade at 6 p.m.; Sonshine Amusements Carnival at 6:30 p.m.; at 7:30 p.m. is a Super Farmer competition.

Wednesday night on the Main Stage is Little Mister and Miss Maries County and Toddler Contest at 7:30 p.m.; the retired princess and queen recognition at 8 p.m.; Dance Team at 8:30; and 10 p.m. the Maries County Princess and Queen Crowning.

Thursday, June 29, entertainment will include Fair Cross 2023.

The Fair Cross event has a $30 entry fee per class per person. Gates open at noon and registration is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Practice will take place at 5 p.m.; heat racing at 6 p.m.; and the main event at 7:30 p.m. at the track, for more information visit www.Facebook.com/faircrossmx. 

Other Thursday events include 4-H/FFA shows at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.; Show-Me Axe Throwing House from 5 to 8 p.m.; and from 7 to 10 p.m., Don Hayes will play on the Main Stage.

Friday, June 30, the day will kick off with water slides from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; F-H/FFA shows from 1 to 6 p.m.; MMFTPA and Antique Tractor Pull registration at 5 p.m., event at 7 p.m. at the track.

Thursday night entertainment will be CENTERSTAGE from 7 to 11 p.m. on the Main Stage.

Saturday, June 30, the morning will kick off with a 6:30 a.m. kids’ Fishing Tournament that begins at 7 a.m. at the lake. The first annual event has a $10 entry fee.

Belle Community Betterment Association hosts its Cornhole Tournament at 11 a.m.; a water slide is available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; registration for the Garden Tractor Pull of Mid-Missouri begins at 9 a.m. with an 11 a.m. start; The 39th Annual Kingsford Cook-Off begins at 10 a.m.; Mulligan Golf Derby registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with the event from 1 to 5 p.m.; the 4-H Livestock Auction begins at 2  p.m.; the Kiddie Tractor Pull begins at 4 p.m.; and Belle Derby starts at 6 p.m.

The Big Rigs will open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Main Stage before DRZHIVEGAS takes the stage at 9 p.m. followed by 10:30 p.m. fireworks.

Tickets are being sold at local businesses in town until June 28 at noon. Advance season passes are $35. Tickets purchased after Wednesday are $10 for Wednesday; $20 for Thursday; $25 for Friday; $40 for Saturday.
