Barbara Jean Bristor, 79, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 8, 1943, to Kenneth, Sr. and Barbara Ellen (Timmerman) Carpenter in Kansas City.
She worked for over 20 years as a registered nurse before retiring.
Barbara was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth, Sr. and Barbara; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by children, Zachary Smith, Torrid Smith, Renetta Smith and Misty Beamer; sisters, Ellen Cory and Beverly Dennis; and several grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held Thursday, May 25, in the Idumea Cemetery, Laquey.
Arrangements entrusted to Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.
